Monica Barnes’ Story

Monica Barnes is a wife and mother to two children. She became a client after re-being referred to the 100 Families Initiative by the White County Circuit Court. Monica struggled with substance abuse, legal issues, unemployment and had a suspended driver’s license prior to joining our program. 100 Families was able to provide Monica with an experienced case worker to help her navigate the court system and its requirements. In addition, her caseworker was also able to help her seek recovery services. With the help and collaboration from partnering organizations such as, Make.Do, The StoreHouse, Beebe District Court, Fellowship Bible Church, Arkansas Workforce in Searcy and Center for Arkansas Legal Services, we are thrilled to share that Monica is sober, employed full-time and compliant in all courts. She has also completed Searcy Drug Court phases I and II. We cannot wait to see the continuing success of this amazing woman!
